Saturday at The Rec!

Saturday, April 25th we're hanging at the Rec! From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the SIU Student Recreation Center, IJAS participants and their guests can enjoy food, games, and fun. Try out the climbing wall, or shoot some hoops with your new IJAS Science Fair friends!

Waiver for participants under age 18: Please download the waiver and bring it to Saturday at the Rec.

Rules for Saturday at the Rec:

• Drop off signed waivers at the main desk
• Get equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, volleyballs) from bin Red by the Reception Desk by entrance
• Once finished using equipment, bring it back to the bin for others to use
• Food and Drink are ONLY allowed in the Group Fitness Studio where the food is located. It cannot leave that room
• Do not use the saunas in the locker rooms
• Must wear closed toe shoes in the facility (no sandals)
• No weight equipment or cardio machines use
• No running in the hallways
• The Climbing wall is available from 11am-2pm
• The Pool is NOT available
• Free daily use lockers can be used to lock up personal items

We have several activities planned throughout the event, so come early and plan to stay! Activities include:

• Taco / nacho bar
• Games provided by Castle Perilous
• Climbing wall
• Rec activities (basketball, table tennis, racquetball, etc.)
• Hanging out with your new IJAS Science Fair friends

Saturday at the Rec is open to all IJAS State Science Fair participants and their guests.
